Taka Molson named to NYS All-Stars : 2009-05-31

Batavia, Van Detta Stadium, May 30, 2009

Graduating Senior, Taka Molson was named to the NYS U19 All-Star team and played in the game versus Bridgend's 2nd XV of Wales. Late in the second half, Taka smartly held up a Bridgend try. Despite his valiant effort, the NYS All-Stars lost 33 to 10 to a highly skilled Welch squad. The NYS U19 team is coach by Mark Kielbasa - a friend to all Centaurs.

The Northeast Rugby Union Collegiate All-Star, coached by our own Coach Hodgins, also fell to the Bridgend 1st XV, 38-12. Former City Honors Captains, Will Zornick and Sarah Bellnier (both CHS '07) were Assistant Referees for Head Referee Pat Laczkoswski.
