Johnnie B Wiley football field proves to be a great home pitch for CHS Rugby.
CHS Girls defeated a physical & technically strong OP team today 22-0.
Captains Emma Fabian and Sarah Bellnier demonstrated outstanding field leadership.
After pressuring the OP scrumhalf deep in their own end, Sarah caused the ball to come loose and then fell on it in-goal for a try.
Rookies were the highlight of the day. Taylor Schweigel continued the family tradition of great tackling and being agressive for the ball.
After great backline play, Caretta Reese scored THREE trys in her debut game
and then added another try in the second half of the B-side game. WOW.
Maria Forti converted three kicks (1 in the A-side and two in the B-side).
