Sunday at the North Street Field, CHS/Genesee combined to win the NYS U19 Girls Championship in impressive fashion.
CHS/Genesee defeated Schools Without Mercy 27-0 with an impressive second half effort.
This score is not at all refelctive of the game.
With a 7-0 lead at half, CHS was able to add on a few scores late in the second half.
SWM played a strong, agressive game. In the Championship,
CHS controlled the game nicely and broke down on what was the last play of the game
and allowed an impressive OP score and conversion.
OP, as usualy, provided the CHS/Genesee side with a spirited, fun game.
All day long, the Lady Centaurs and Genesee team played an incredible team game.
There is no game/tournament MVP because it was an exemplary overall group effort.
